ARRIVAL IN THE HOUSE

 

 

       On arrival

Visit of the house and inventory. Dilivery of keys, balance of rental and deposit cheque.

The deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay, once the inventory has been checked.

On departure

End-of-stay cleaning is required and costs 150 euros.

Please do not leave any food in the fridge or freezer.

An inventory check is carried out on departure.

The deposit cheque will be returned to you. If any damage is found, which will be deducted from your cheque.

Please inform Madame Maud Deverre at 06 33 17 89 56 of your departure time so that we can carry out an inventory. The house must be left by 10:00 a.m. at the latest.

 

House rules

To ensure that your stay runs smoothly, and that of your successors, we would like to thank you in advance for not smoking inside and for respecting the following rules.

Use of the facilities

For their own safety, never let your children climb onto the metal plate covering the well. The well is 9 meters deep (30 feet).

Ladies, it is IMPERATIVE that you NEVER throw your sanitary towels or tampons down the toilet, as the drains are not designed for this purpose. Please use the garbage can.

To keep the garden clean, please avoid leaving cigarette butts and other papers lying around.

 P Please close the garden gate, making sure to replace the metal bar (and the nail that prevents the hook from coming out) that holds it closed. When the north wind blows, the gate can open and break against the house wall, as has already happened. The same applies if you open the garage gate from the house (and don't forget to replace the metal bar).

When you leave the house, close the windows and lock both front doors.

     Where to buy groceries

 

In the village, a 5-minute walk from the house, there's the COOP grocery store, which also sells fresh bread in the morning.

You can also go to Leclerc in Saint-Pierre (3km or 2 miles), where you can fill up with gas.
